All parent and caregiver documentation will be accessible online via links to be send Friday the 16th of January 2026. We have created a list of links to support parents and caregivers to easily find everything they might need for the start of the year.
Staggered Start and Electronic Device Policy
Students will commence Week 1 with a staggered start, allowing us the opportunity to settle each year level into the new school year.

| District Special Class students will begin back the same day as their year level. | ||
All students will be allocated a locker in Week 1. The expectation is that all bags will remain in lockers during the school day, this ensures safety for all of the PGHS Community.
In accordance with departmental policy, mobile phones, AirPods, and all personal electronic devices are prohibited on school grounds at all times.
Devices must be switched off and securely stored and must not be visible during the school day.
Materials and Service Charges
The Materials and Services Charge for 2026 is $430.00, which includes a voluntary contribution of $27.00.
All public school studens will recieve a $200 rebate from the State Government to relieve the financial pressure, this rebate will be automatically applied to all families therefore the 2026 school’s fees will be reduced to $230
A range of payment options is available and outlined on the school website.
Payment of Materials and Services charges is due by the end of Term 1, unless an alternative payment arrangement has been negotiated with the Finance Office.
One-Stop-Shop
Parents and caregivers may attend the school to make payments or to submit School Card applications during the following times:

- Monday 19 January: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
- Tuesday 20 January: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
- Thursday 22 January: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Parents and caregivers are requested to bring the enclosed invoice(s) to support efficient processing.
The Finance Office is located adjacent to the Main Administration Office.
School Card
Please note that School Card applications must be completed annually, families who believe they may be eligible are encouraged to apply as early as possible.
Applications are completed online via the following link School Card Scheme.
Alternative arrangements and forms are available from the school for families experiencing financial hardship or a change in circumstances.
Student Equipment and Stationery
Students are expected to be prepared for learning from the first day of attendance. All students are required to bring:
Appropriate stationery (pens, pencils, etc.) And a fully charged laptop (provided by our school, please contact our ICT Department for more information about BYO Devices).
Years 7 to 9
✔️ Two A4 lined exercise books.
✔️ One A4 graph book.
✔️ Coloured pencils.
Years 10 to 12
✔️ A4 lined pad.
✔️ A4 graph pad.
Calculators
✔️ Years 7 to 10 Mathematics, Scientific calculator is required.
✔️ Years 11 to 12 Mathematics, Graphic calculator is required.
Prior to purchasing a graphic calculator, families are advised to consult the Mathematics Coordinator to ensure SACE Board approval.
A limited number of graphic calculators are available for loan at a cost of $40 for Semesters 1 and 2.
Starter stationery packs are available from the One Stop Shop for $10 per pack.
Student ID Cards and Diaries
All students will be issued with a Student ID card and a school diary.

School Uniform – Devon Clothing
Devon Clothing is the school’s approved uniform supplier, uniforms can be purchased online through Devon Clothing’s website.

School Yearbook
Each year, the school produces a yearbook capturing significant events and achievements across all learning areas.
The Yearbook Committee will be established at the commencement of a new school year, indicative cost will be between $20 to $35 (subject to the number of copies ordered).
Further information regarding ordering and payment will be communicated during the year.
