Dear Parents and Caregivers,
Parafield Gardens High School is proud to have a strong and supportive community, and we are now inviting parents and caregivers to join our Governing Council for the upcoming year.
The Governing Council plays an important role in shaping the direction of our school. It provides a valuable opportunity for families to have a voice in key areas such as school improvement, student wellbeing, facilities, policies, and future planning. Your insights and experiences as parents are essential in helping us create the best possible learning environment for all students.
Why join the Governing Council?
You can help influence decisions that affect your child’s education.
It’s a meaningful way to support the school and strengthen our community.
You’ll gain an understanding of how the school operates and contributes to long-term planning.
You don’t need any special skills — just an interest in supporting our students and a willingness to be involved.
Meetings are held twice a term (with occasional additional meetings if needed) and are friendly, supportive, and focused on positive outcomes for our students and school community.
