Food Hamper Relief & Emergency Assitance
The wellbeing team at Parafield Gardens High School have liaised with a few community services providers to support families within our community to access food hampers and other emergency services.
Please find below the providers available for all Parafield Gardens High School Families.
- Pathway Community Centre 1/249 Milne Road Modbury North, families can attend in person to sign up for free (with photo id – 1 person per household), and can access this service fortnight for food support and other services.
- Salvos Parafield Gardens: 8250 1455 can assist with emergency food.
- Anglicare Emergency assistance program: 1800 061 551 (call at 9am in the morning as their capacity fills quickly each day)
- Emergency Assistance St Vinnies: 1300 729 202 (call at 9am as their capacity fills quickly each day)
- Affordable SA Helpline: 1800 025 539 can provide information on other services in and around Adelaide that families may need.
- Anglicare SA financial counselling service: 1800 759 707, providing financial support to families doing it tough.
- Food bank mobile food hub: The Grove Seventh Day Adventist church, 146 Frost Road Brahma Lodge 10am-12pm on Monday fortnightly (Odd weeks of the school term)
- Davoren Park Food Hub 130 Peachy Road Davoren Park, requires a referral/voucher to attend. Please contact one of the following for this service:
